From the Rainforest to Your Doorstep
A soldier’s injury. A rainforest cure. A mission to share what works.
AJ Tongkat Ali was a Malaysian Army Officer when a severe nerve injury changed everything. Declared unfit for battle and given a fifty-fifty chance of permanent damage, he refused surgery and chose a different path.
He walked a hill near his home every single day. He spent time with the Orang Asli — the indigenous people of the Malaysian rainforest who had lived in that forest for 25,000 years. He drank bitter roots because they pressed them into his hands. He paid attention to what changed.
One hour on that hill became twenty-nine minutes. A swimming test he had never trained for was completed twenty-five seconds faster than his personal best.
The Turning Point
That experience sparked a decade of research, formulation, and refinement in Ipoh, Malaysia — where AJ Herbs was born.
